our cosy Guest House (formerly the village doctor's surgery).
Rose Garth is situated in the heart of the village of Ravenglass in the Western Lakes. The estuaries of the rivers Esk, Irt and Mite provide a sanctuary for sailors and sea birds alike, and the sunsets are amazing!
In the village itself you will find the ruins of a Roman Bath House and of course the famous Ravenglass & Eskdale Steam Railway known locally as L'al Ratty. Close by is Muncaster Castle, home of the Pennington family, famous for it's Himalayan Gardens, Maze and Owl Sanctuary. It is also said to be haunted and is a must for a visit while you are in the area.
